About the Role

We are looking for our next Outdoor Timber Specialist to join our team.

Based at our Retail Store 62 Gladstone Road, Richmond, Tasman, you'll greet customers with a smile and 'can do' attitude, talk to them either in person or over the phone, finding out their product needs to ensure they get the best value option for their project.

In addition, assisting in the yard putting orders together, putting product away and loading and unloading using the forklift/loader will also be required.

Standard hours of work are Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Skills and Experience

While a background in yard work, sales, customer service or farming may be an advantage, as full training will be provided, it is more important that you are able to demonstrate:

• Self-motivation and reliability.
• Honesty, integrity and a commitment to deliver what you promise.
• A friendly, energetic and positive personality.
• Physical fitness appropriate for lifting timber/posts with a commitment to safe work practices.
• A willingness to be trained and learn new skills.

You will need a full driver's licence (or the ability to get soon) as you will be required to drive our vehicles/get your F & W licence endorsements once trained.
