• We are seeking an experienced finance professional to provide support and guidance to the Three Waters team, delivering high-quality, accurate, and timely accounting services. This role plays a key part in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all transactional processing and financial reporting.

• Working closely with the Water team, you will support effective financial management through robust budgeting, monitoring, and forecasting, enabling informed decision-making across the service.

What you will do

• Provide financial advice and support to the Water Services team to enable effective decision-making.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all transactional processing and financial reporting.
• Support the development of annual budgets and long-term planning, ensuring alignment with Council priorities and legislative requirements.
• Monitor and report on actuals versus budgets, including variance analysis and clear commentary.

• What We’re Looking For
• Chartered Accountant (or equivalent)
• 4-5 years experience in a similar role
• Understanding of practical project management
