About

We are a rapid paced e-commerce ventures business start up that moves at RAPID PACE & we are seeking a talented video sales letter editor who specializes in B-roll style video edits. Your role will be to create engaging content that takes viewers on an emotional journey, driving them to connect with our message. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for storytelling through visuals and have experience in editing video sales letters. If you have a passion for crafting compelling narratives and can work efficiently to meet deadlines, we want to hear from you! Style Of Editing: When editing our direct-response VSLs, your primary goal is to visually bring the script to life as precisely and engagingly as possible, using back pain only as an example of how problems and solutions should be shown on screen. Especially in the first 60 seconds, the edit must feel fast, curious, and disruptive: scenes should switch every 2–3 seconds and rely heavily on real, raw, iPhone-style clips sourced from the internet rather than polished stock footage. Hooks should never use stock people footage (3D animations are the only exception) and should instead combine unusual real-world clips, news anchor or breaking-news style segments, split screens, and anatomical overlays to immediately capture attention. Whenever the script mentions pain or discomfort (e.g., stabbing back pain, knee pain, pressure, inflammation), the visuals should show people clearly experiencing that pain, reinforced with red pain markers, arrows, or animated highlights. When the script explains the “root cause” or how the problem works internally, such as joints compressing or discs being crushed, the video should switch to clear, engaging 3D animations that visually demonstrate the mechanism step-by-step. Throughout the VSL, the visuals must closely mirror the script line-by-line so the viewer can see exactly what’s being described. Emotional tone matters: problem sections should feel heavy, scary, and serious, while solution sections should immediately shift to brighter, happier, and more hopeful imagery. Avoid overly polished or generic stock clips, avoid young people, and focus on realistic footage of adults aged roughly 40–70, primarily middle-aged Americans, as this reflects our actual audience. Use simple, minimal transitions every few scenes to maintain flow without distraction. After the first minute, pacing can slow slightly to 3–5 seconds per scene, but energy and clarity must remain high. Finally, the video should end with a clear visual of the largest product bundle and a visible CTA being clicked, held on screen for at least 10 seconds after the audio ends, so the viewer unmistakably understands what to do next. Our Definition of Done: A VSL is considered complete and approved only when all required systematic variations are delivered for a single product. Each VSL sells one product only, and that product must clearly address three core problems within the narrative. The main body of the VSL remains identical across all variations to preserve message consistency, proof, and conversion structure. A single completed VSL consists of 15 total video variations, produced as follows: 15 unique hooks 3 unique leads 3 distinct problem mechanisms 1 shared VSL body (identical across all versions) These components must be combined systematically so that each final video is a clean, intentional variation—not random edits or creative drift. Each variation must follow the approved Direct Response VSL Editing SOP, including pacing, visual matching to script, audience targeting, emotional tone, and CTA execution. Delivery is not considered done unless: All 15 variations are exported, clearly named, and ready for upload Each variation correctly matches one hook + one lead + one problem mechanism + the shared VSL body No creative shortcuts are taken (e.g. reused hooks labeled as new, mismatched visuals, or altered VSL bodies) Each video ends with the required product bundle + CTA held on screen for the final 10 seconds If any variation is missing, duplicated, or incorrectly assembled, the VSL is not complete. One product = one VSL = 15 fully built, systematic variations. FINALLY ... You must work fast and be able to produce quality. If you don't work well under pressure, we are not for you. If you don't LOVE your work and you simply do it to pay bills (WE ARE NOT FOR YOU) You must LOVE IT & WANT IT.
