Reporting directly to Business Operations Manager, this is a great role for someone with excellent communication skills, both written and oral with a desire to make a difference to employee sense of engagement and development. This role is based at our store - Home Furniture at Kerikeri , Northland, New Zealand.

Job Responsibilities:

Setting sales goals, motivating staff to achieve targets, analysing sales trends, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue.

Managing stock levels, ordering new merchandise, preventing overstocking and stock outs, and conducting inventory checks.

Addressing customer concerns, resolving complaints, ensuring excellent customer interactions, and promoting a positive shopping experience.

Creating appealing store displays, implementing promotional signage, and maintaining store aesthetics.

Monitoring expenses, controlling costs, and adhering to budget constraints and Tracking key performance indicators, generating sales reports, and analysing data to identify areas for improvement.

Ensuring adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.

Create expectations and accountability after the completion of training and develop evaluation procedures for training, leading career paths, and Curriculums

Develop training programs for sales, and other positions that provide training and development throughout the individual’s time in the position (soft skills, role- specific, technology, and product).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Ability to work collaboratively across various functions and work independently.

You’ll need expertise in producing training content and support materials.

Ability to manage store operations and oversee the administration required to keep all up to date.

Able to manage multiple projects to ensure delivery against time, quality, and cost.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills and the ability to read and analyze complex information

Strong interpersonal and coaching skills to explain information to a wide range of audiences.

Understanding and experience with working software's like Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Required Experience / Qualification:

At least Min two years of work experience in any industry or Qualification at Level 4 or Above

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
