Key Responsibilities:

  • Determining the appropriate mix of detailing services, cleaning solutions, and supplementary products to cater to customer demands and maintain premium service quality
  • Monitoring inventory levels of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and protective materials, and adjusting orders to ensure adequate stock without incurring unnecessary costs
  • Negotiating with reliable suppliers to secure high-quality cleaning agents, tools, and maintenance equipment at competitive rates
  • Implementing strategy for setting and maintaining service standards, ensuring each detailing package consistently meets the company’s reputation for excellence
  • Developing and implementing local marketing efforts, including special promotions, seasonal offers, and community partnerships to attract new and repeat customers
  • Enhancing customer experience by ensuring that the staff recommends suitable detailing packages, addressing inquiries, and promptly resolving any concerns or complaints
  • Managing daily financial records, tracking revenue, reviewing costs, and making informed decisions on pricing and promotions to sustain profitability
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising staff to guarantee adherence to correct detailing techniques, safety protocols, and customer service best practices
  • Organizing staff schedules to align with varying demand, maintaining an efficient and motivated team through positive leadership and regular performance feedback
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental standards, proper disposal of used materials, and adherence to occupational health and safety regulations to maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment

Key Requirements:

  • NZQF Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) OR at least 2 years of relevant experience (either one is must).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage staff, operations, and customer relationships effectively.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and record-keeping, with knowledge of cloud-based systems.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality service standards.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations, particularly in a car wash or service environment.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems as they arise.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
