• Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.
• We are looking for an established Geotechnical Engineer who can confidently provide practical design solutions, develop strong client relationships and contribute to furthering technical development in CMW. You must be able to work within a team and provide hands-on mentorship to junior staff.
• What We're Looking for
• To be successful in this role you must have,
• A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer in a consultancy setting
• Attained CPEng or eligible for CPEng
• Full New Zealand working rights
• At least two years of experience working in NZ is strongly preferred
• Developed exposure to geotechnical design software
• Good interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
