This role is a member of the BNZ Service Management team which is comprised of a small team of talented individuals dedicated to ensuring BNZ Technology services are available for our customers and colleagues where and when they are needed. The team is part of the wider Cyber & Governance business unit focused on optimising a resilient and secure Technology estate. This is an Auckland based hybrid role with three days in the office and two days where you can work flexibly. Anchor days in the office is Wednesday and a Monday or a Friday. Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We sat down with the People Leader (who you would report to) and they told us the following about the role: What are 5 day-to-day tasks the person in this role will complete? Perform daily backup monitoring and exception management, escalating failed or incomplete jobs as needed. Assist with the execution of database and application restore tests, including setup, documentation, and results validation. Maintain accurate records and evidence of restore testing to support audit and compliance reporting. Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and application teams to troubleshoot restoration issues. Support automation and data quality initiatives that improve visibility of backup health. Working with a diverse set of stakeholders and using your influencing skills to get the right outcome. What technical skills are REQUIRED for this role? ServiceNow and Office365 proficiency. Familiarity with technology terminology or previous roles in technology teams are desirable. What do we want you to know before you apply? This role will be Auckland based with the rest of the team based in Wellington. There is a wider cohort of Technology staff based in Auckland. This is a hybrid working role, however, there is an expectation that you will be in the office 3 days per week, with one of those days being either a Monday or Friday.
