We’re looking for a Senior Analyst – Greenhouse Gas Emissions in a full-time fixed term position until 30 June 2026. The role will play a critical part at Police by monitoring and reporting carbon emissions to comply with government requirements and public expectations to reduce emissions and waste. You will be part of a passionate, innovative and creative Business Reporting Team that are responsible for telling Police’s performance story through our external reporting products.

The Senior Analyst – Greenhouse Gas Emissions will work closely the Senior Specialist Greenhouse Gas Emissions role and with internal teams and external partners, providing expert advice on emissions initiatives and building strong working relationships. This role helps ensure that Police meets its monitoring and reporting of carbon emissions while proactively identifying and managing risks and opportunities in this area.

Key Accountabilities:
Create and present meaningful carbon reporting
Assist Police to meet their GHG obligations
Engage and provide advice on Climate Change

To be successful in this role, the Senior Analyst – Greenhouse Gas Emissions will:

Understand carbon accounting and accounting approaches SBT, ISO, greenhouse gases.
Have experience delivering statutory carbon reporting or climate related disclosures for large organisations in the public or private sectors.
Have strong data mining, modelling, and visualisation skills
Be able to be self-directed and motivated, counted on to get the job done among tight and competing deadlines.
Have a professional tertiary qualification/s in a relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Engineering, Science).
