We’re looking for two Restaurant Managers to oversee the daily
operations of our café/restaurant.
Please note: you will be required to work in multiple locations
including our restaurants in Nelson and Richmond, Tasman.
- a diploma in the related field or a bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years of relevant work experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations
- Hire, onboard, and train new staff
- Organise staff schedules
- Coordinate with vendors and manage supply orders
- Control operational costs and identify ways to reduce waste
- Maintain accurate stock records and update sales and expense reports
- Collaborate with the chef to plan and adjust menu items based on seasonality and customer preferences
- Guide staff on delivering excellent customer service and resolving customer issues
- Plan and organise special events for customers when needed
- Ensure compliance with safety and food quality standards
Employment Details:
- Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, up to a maximum of 45 hours. Permanent position
- Hourly remuneration ranges from $28 to $34, based on experience.
