  • Job Description

s a Sofitel Ambassador, you will

  • Deliver impeccable, personalised service from reservation to departure.
  • Accurately manage guest accounts and ensure all transactions meet the highest standards of security and confidentiality.
  • Handle guest communications and reservations efficiently, ensuring every enquiry is addressed promptly.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with all hotel departments to create flawless guest experiences.
  • Promote hotel facilities and services with elegance and professionalism.
  • Assist guests with arrivals, departures, luggage, and room orientation, providing a refined, welcoming experience.
  • Safeguard and manage guest property with care and discretion.
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably including five star experience.
  • Full, clean valid manual driver’s license essential.
  • Working knowledge of Opera preferred
  • Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills.
  • Desire and ability to train and develop staff.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends in service, product and presentation.
  • Initiates contacts and establishes rapport easily.
  • Organises time and work efficiently.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Appreciates and maintains an effective outlet for stress.
  • Knowledge of the Auckland area and activities.
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as part of the job role.
  • Has the aptitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel.
