Mō te tūranga | About the role We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic project that improves our systems, tools, and processes - helping us achieve better conservation outcomes. You’ll manage several workstreams, delivering digital solutions and operational improvements within scope, on time and within budget. After this project, you’ll continue to lead other high-priority projects that support our organisational goals You’ll be part of a team that’s passionate about conservation and making a difference for Aotearoa. The position will be focussed on: Project Leadership; Manage the delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget, coordinate multiple workstreams, including digital platforms and process improvements, manage dependencies and ensure alignment with other key initiatives across the organisation Stakeholder Engagement; Work closely with operational teams, technical specialists, and leaders to make sure solutions meet frontline needs, facilitate workshops and provide clear updates to stakeholders Planning & Execution; Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and risk registers, monitor progress, manage risks and dependencies, and resolve issues proactively Governance & Reporting; Provide regular status reports to governance groups and senior leadership, ensure compliance with organisational standards and frameworks. Change Management; Support adoption of new systems and processes through effective communication and training strategies. Click here for the Role Description Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience If you have some of following, we are keen to hear from you: Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-workstream projects in a complex environment Strong knowledge of digital solution delivery and business process improvement Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies Ability to manage budgets, risks, and resources effectively Experience in conservation, public sector, or operational environments (preferred). Qualifications in project management, business, technology, or related fields or demonstrated equivalent experience in project delivery roles Desirable: Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM) He aha ngā pāinga mōu? | What’s in it for you?
