Join us as a Portables Operator in the Canterbury Region!
We have and exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Operator to join our Quarries team in Christchurch. You will operate a portable crushing plant and other machinery to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard.
In addition to the above you will:
- Perform daily machine checks and monitor/maintain the portable crushing plant.
- Operate loaders and other machinery to load the crusher plant, stockpiling and occasionally load trucks.
- Interact with external and internal customers.

We’re looking for someone with:
- Full Class 2 licence with WTR Endorsements.
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery e.g. loaders.
- Flexibility to work away from home as and when required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience in the mining or quarrying industry would be advantageous.
- A proactive approach to Health and Safety - it’s our #1 priority.
- A positive attitude and the ability to be a strong team player.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
