  • About the Role
  • The role reports to the Senior Manager – Ops Process and Change and will work across the business and lead enterprise-level operational integration and change strategy across multiple programmes. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate enterprise ambition into operational reality - delivering readiness, resilience, efficiency, and customer experience uplift at scale.

Your key responsibilities are

  • Partner with senior leaders to shape operational strategy and establish consistent processes across programmes
  • Lead transformation initiatives spanning from infrastructure, through digital, and service delivery streams
  • Design future operating models that enhance resilience, compliance, and customer experience at scale
  • Oversee programme implementation, ensuring readiness planning, risk mitigation, SOPs, and smooth transition to BAU
  • Introducing new operational processes across multiple long-term programmes, balancing delivery milestones with day-of-operation continuity.
  • Navigating complex stakeholder environments, aligning internal teams, external partners, airlines, and government agencies to achieve shared outcomes under tight timeframes.
  • Leading through influence without direct authority, fostering collaboration and shared accountability across diverse operational and project teams.
  • Represent operational priorities in governance forums, managing performance and risk tradeoffs transparently
  • Build organisational capability by mentoring SMEs, uplifting frontline teams, and embedding integration maturity
  • Drive continuous improvement through performance monitoring, data & insights, and optimisation aligned with enterprise strategy

To ensure your success in this role, you will need

  • Degree or equivalent practical experience in Operations Management, Project Management, or related field
  • Certification or equivalent practical knowledge in Change Management
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in complex operational environments at a Senior level, ideally in aviation (airlines).
  • Demonstrated leadership of operational change, project and process integration across multi-year programmes
  • Proven experience navigating complex operational change in collaboration with union partners, ensuring alignment, transparency, and constructive engagement throughout the change journey.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing at senior levels and navigating unionised environments.
  • Strong knowledge of operational readiness frameworks and service transition to BAU
  • Experience in risk management, operational resilience, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Ability to interpret data and analytics and identify opportunities and trends to influence best outcomes for the business, stakeholders and customers
