You’ll lead a trans-Tasman team and partner with our managed service provider to deliver resilient, high-performing network services while driving automation and innovation. This is a permanent full-time role based in Ōtautahi (Christchurch).

  • Lead and inspire a team of network specialists across Australia and New Zealand, fostering capability uplift and growth.
  • Drive the roadmap for network automation and observability, moving towards AI enabled Zero-Touch operations
  • Manage vendor relationships and performance, ensuring seamless collaboration
  • Oversee cost management and contribute to financial planning for network services.
  • Champion customer-centricity and operational excellence, ensuring resilience and reliability across all services.
  • Drive product excellence for the product/s assigned to you, and support peers in improving their product capabilities
  • Collaborate with architecture and technology teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions aligned to IAG’s strategy.

  • Strong demonstrable background in enterprise secure network operations and engineering with leadership experience.
  • Strong background in Product/ Service Ownership delivering world-class Customer Experience
  • Proven ability to implement automation and software-defined networking
  • Experience managing vendors and outsourced operations in complex environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to lead high-performing teams and negotiate win-win outcomes.
