Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

You will be responsible for mowing and turf activities within the Downer Kaipara Greenspace department in accordance with Downer policies and client specifications, including undertaking training as required. This is a full time permanent role based in the Dargaville or Central Kaipara area.

Tasks include but not limited to mowing, edge control, litter control and equipment maintenance.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

You will need to be physically fit, happy to work outdoors as well as the following:

• Mowing experience or similar preferred
• Full clean class 1 driver’s licence, Class 2 will be an advantage
• Ability to complete time and run sheets, and some technical literacy to operate hand held electronic recording devices)
• Ability to follow operating runs, operate and maintain machinery without supervision
• Motivated to do a good job delivering quality results
