Job Summary The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for administering a mortgage for reverse mortgage products on behalf their dedicated lenders on behalf of the FMS Group. This constitutes providing accurate, efficient and effective day to day delivery of services within agreed timeframes, whilst maintaining and fostering a positive relationship with the client. About The Role Process new loan settlements and maintain loan accounts in the administration system (SAM), including cash payments and portfolio transfers. Provide system support to SAM users and assist with general mortgage administration tasks such as rates and insurance. Handle helpdesk activities including interest rate changes, agent updates, password activation, month-end instructions, and reporting (e.g., Board and audited reports). Manage funding and post-settlement requirements, ensuring registration and delivery of final client reports. Perform monthly reviews, reconciliations, and quality assurance checks to maintain compliance and accuracy. Complete additional administrative duties as required to support smooth operations. About You You’re detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. To excel in this role, you’ll bring: Previous experience in mortgage administration within banking, finance, or conveyancing. Exposure to legal work related to conveyancing and/or banking. A solid understanding of mortgage accounting and capitalised interest. Strong verbal and written communication skills, paired with excellent customer service. High accuracy in data entry and confidence using technology and systems. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines. Sound decision-making skills under pressure in a high-volume environment. Accounting experience is highly regarded.
