We are looking for a highly skilled Junior Production Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to the manufacturing of our high-quality product CloudSpec. Our device and platform is used by leading Biopharma researchers and drug manufacturers around the world.
  • About the Role
  • You love building? We’re looking for a practical, hands-on way to support CloudSpec production for three months. The role includes device assembly, testing, and lab-based sample work. Full training is provided — we’re looking for someone adaptable, careful, can follow rigorous processes and is eager to learn. This includes device assembly, testing, and lab-based sample work.   • Key Responsibilities
  • Work on the mechanical, optical, and electrical assembly of CloudSpec devices
  • Perform basic soldering and use hand tools confidently
  • Run test scripts and automated procedures (no coding required)
  • Support troubleshooting using structured problem-solving
  • Carry out pipetting and basic lab workflows
  • Prepare and run samples on analysis equipment
  • Maintain good lab practice and contamination awareness
  • Keep documentation and workspaces organised
  • About You
  • Education & Background
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Chemistry, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • If you are taking a break from study to gain some real-world industry experience, please do not hesitate to apply.
  • Skills & Experience
  • You are a tinkerer at heart who loves to make things work, build them, assemble things, and being hands on.
  • Love using hand tools; some soldering or electrical assembly experience preferred
  • Confident running scripts or command-line tools (no coding needed)
  • Basic familiarity with laboratory environments and clean techniques
  • Awareness of contamination risks in sample handling
  • Experience with analytical instruments or spectroscopy is a bonus
  • Exposure to basic coding or data analysis is beneficial
