• We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Inwards Goods Assistant to join our team in Feilding. We run a well-equipped hospital offering a wide range of surgeries and advanced treatment options for our clients for both production and domestic animals.
• This role will provide support to the procurement team by assisting with inventory management as well as a client services component.

Ideally, we are looking for a person who has the following qualities

• Previous experience in stock/inventory management.
• A passion for customer service, with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and to use initiative
• Excellent computer skills
• Confident, positive personality with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on detail and going the extra mile

Responsibilities include

• Assisting in monitoring and maintaining stock levels
• Assist in ordering and receiving orders
• Operating a forklift (training provided) and heavy lifting
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels
• Providing first point of contact for our clients and visitors
• Booking appointments for clients
• Answering animal health questions
• Telephone contact and follow-up calls
• Providing sales advice and product knowledge
• Administration support for our veterinarians
• Previous experience within a customer service, veterinary or agricultural sector would be advantageous; however, training will be given to the right person who has the ability to fit in and contribute to the team environment.
• This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday within clinic hours.
