Allevia Hospitals is seeking a caring, reliable and experienced person to join our team as Inpatient Receptionist in our General Surgical Ward at Ascot Hospital in Remuera.

This is a part-time position for 3 days per week (Tue, Wed, Thu) from 6:45am to 3:15pm, and fixed term for 6 months to cover parental leave.

As the first point of contact for the ward, our Inpatient Receptionist ensures that our patients & visitors receive outstanding customer service, and provides efficient administrative support to the Charge Nurse Manager, specialists and wider clinical team. This position will suit a committed customer focussed person who will be confident dealing with patients, specialists and colleagues at all levels. While previous experience as a medical receptionist would be ideal your willingness and ability to learn and adapt will set you up to enjoy this rewarding and important role.
