We are seeking an expert in HEC-RAS 2D modeling to build a model for a site specific project. The analysis is to see the local impacts on the placement of approximately 3000m3 of fill in the small floodplain. You will need a "predevelopment" scenario using downloaded GIS lidar information and a post development model using a surface updated to included recent survey data. This is a time critical and very important project. You need expert level experience in flood modelling to make sure we get a fast and accurate result. The results will be analysed by the local government authority and compared to the existing regionwide 2d model.
