- The University of Auckland’s Faculty of Engineering and Design are looking for a dynamic Graphic Designer to help in the development of a powerful and consistent profile for the faculty of Engineering. You will do this by using creative design with high visual impact within the campaign and faculty collateral across print and digital media. A key element in this role is to establish strong relationships with stakeholders, enabling you to understand their needs and deliver what is required using your knowledge and creative flair.
- This role provides design support to the wider team and the faculty and works closely with Marketing Advisers, Events and Content Team as well external Creative and Media Agencies on occasion. Responsibilities of this role contribute to the development of a powerful and consistent profile for the faculty of engineering and design, using creative design with high visual impact within campaign and faculty collateral across print and digital media. The role involves engaging with stakeholders and understanding their needs before making design decisions and recommendations within the context of the overall University brand position. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of digital media and industry software, and a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.
- The team manages a high volume of work, working alongside several key stakeholders at the Faculty of Engineering and Design so we are looking for someone who can help ensure that the workflow in the team runs smoothly and projects are completed on time with proactive communication.
- This is a fixed Term, full-time (37.5 hours per week) opportunity until 1 June 2026. The salary range for the role is $62,400 – $77,800 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

- Have a bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification.
- Have an advanced level of oral and written English Language communication skills.
