About the Role Are you passionate about technology and want to make an impact at one of the world’s leading cloud platforms? Workday is looking for a Technology Solution Consultant to join our Solution Consulting ( ‘presales’) team in Australia. This role combines technical expertise with creativity, innovation, and communication to help our customers envision their future with Workday. What You’ll do: - Craft compelling presentations showcasing why Workday’s technology is fundamentally different. - Dive deep into topics like integrations, data security, reporting & analytics, and Workday Extend. - Lead discussions on AI/ML and Workday’s latest innovations, positioning us as a future-ready solution. - Deliver impactful demos that bridge technology and business outcomes. - Collaborate with stakeholders to create technical as-is and to-be architecture designs using graphical discovery tools. - Collaborate with functional consultants, business architects, and other team members to deliver seamless presales engagements. - Communicate complex technical concepts to functional & technical audiences while engaging confidently with C level executives. About You What We Are looking for - Exceptional presentation and demo skills. - Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills. - Expertise in technical areas such as cloud architecture, integrations, data security, and reporting tools. - A good knowledge of AI/ML industry trends and a passion for technical innovation. - Ability to create and present technical architectures. - A customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering tailored solutions. - A fast learner who shows adaptability in fast moving organisations Basic Qualifications 5+ years experience in enterprise software technical solution consulting (“Presales”). 3+ years experience delivering compelling presentations in person, and via on-line meetings. 3+ years experience leading discovery conversations and providing polished world-class demonstrations to C-Suite executives, business leaders and technical evaluators. 3+ years experience with IT landscapes and help develop current-state and future-state illustrations. 3+ years experience working with common cloud architectures, security, reporting, and/or integration standards. Other Qualifications Existing knowledge of Workday application and technical architecture is beneficial, but if you have experience on legacy systems or our competitor’s systems, we’ll train you on Workday Experience with AI/ML concepts, tools, or frameworks and their application in business systems, automation, or analytics. Familiarity with low-code platforms and tools, with hands-on experience designing and deploying applications or workflows to drive business efficiency. App or web development experience is beneficial. Working knowledge of HTML, Javascript, CSS, C+, Python or other is a plus. Experience developing or supporting Financial or HCM applications, customisations, reports, workflow, BI, integration, analytics or being involved in implementations, upgrades or re-implementations is preferred Knowledge of leading cloud architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc...), Familiarity with basic networking principles such as VPCs, firewalls, load balancers and related technologies Working knowledge of information security frameworks, security standards and guidelines is beneficial Familiarity with web service integration standards such as WSDL, SOAP, JSON and ability to use SFTP and UNIX through a command line interface is helpful.
