• The Opportunity
• With our Devices Team scaling faster than ever, the Electronics Engineer will play a central role in designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing electronic circuit solutions for Gallagher’s next-generation security products. You’ll operate in multidisciplinary project teams, working closely with firmware, mechanical, NPI, manufacturing, and procurement to take products from concept through to robust, manufacturable outcomes.

• Ensure designs meet international compliance and safety standards
• Optimise circuits for production and performance
• Contribute to Learning First Product Development (LFPD) and continuous improvement initiatives

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or similar)
• Proven experience in R&D environments
• Proficiency in circuit debugging using scopes, logic analysers, etc.
• Familiarity with PCB CAD tools and DFM/DFT practices
• Strong understanding of EMC principles and international safety compliance
• Clear communication skills and a proactive mindset
• Desirable: familiarity with SAP or similar systems, and competency with circuit simulation tools
