I'm Coach Zach, climbing gym owner and head coach. I've developed a training system that helps climbers achieve their goals faster than they thought possible. The system is now an edited manuscript ready for design. I want to partner with a designer who has experience making educational content engaging. Climbing training manuals are often a bore to look at and a grind to read. I'd love to change that with your help. The manuscript is a super effective training system, but it's novel and at times dense. It needs intelligent design that threads the needle between informational and just plain fun to look at. I want to partner with an editorial designer who will engage with the content and use design to enhance both comprehension and enjoyment. A track record of taking manuscripts to published books on KDP is a must. Bonus for marketing insight, pre-launch strategy, and KDP optimization experience. Scope: 30,000 words with 20-ish graphics, 50 exercise sketches, and 20 photos. Graphics are not finalized—I want to allow you to shape the visual direction in line with your editorial design approach. Publication date: First quarter of 2026 *** Please provide links to nonfiction and instructional book projects you have worked on. It's the fastest way to find the right fit. To Apply, Share: Your portfolio with links to relevant work—specifically nonfiction, instructional, and educational editorial book projects Brief overview of your manuscript-to-publication process Timeline and cost estimate (after reviewing assets) I'm responsive, collaborative, and have excellent feedback here on Upwork.
