BEER FOR YOU LIMITED known for its welcoming atmosphere, quality beverages, and excellent customer service. We are seeking motivated and responsible Duty Managers to join our team in the Hawke's Bay region. The ideal candidates will be proactive, customer-focused, and capable of overseeing daily operations to ensure the venue runs efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with all licensing and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout each shift.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide friendly, efficient bar service at all times.
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with company standards.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the bar, tables, and service areas throughout the shift.
• Restock fridges, shelves, and bar supplies, ensuring adequate levels of beverages, garnishes, and glassware.
• Handle customer payments accurately using POS systems and follow correct cash handling procedures.
• Address customer enquiries and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally.
• Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth and consistent service delivery.
• Check deliveries and restock inventory as required, reporting any shortages or quality issues to the manager.
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol and compliance with licensing laws and house policies.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including end-of-day cleaning, stock checks, and basic reporting.
• Assist with other related tasks as needed, contributing to overall team efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $35 per hour.

Other Requirements:

• Relevant work experience is preferred but not essential.
• LCQ and Manager’s Certificate are highly preferred.
• Must be available to work weekends and late-night shifts as required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods during shifts.
