We are looking for 3 X experienced Cooks to join our team. This role involves preparing a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality, and contributing to the efficient daily functioning of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cooking and plating a variety of dishes, curries, items, breads, snacks, and more, using both traditional and contemporary methods.
• Preparing and organizing fresh ingredients daily to ensure the kitchen is ready for service.
• Ensuring consistent flavour, texture, and presentation across all menu items.

Checking the freshness and quality of vegetables, meats, spices, and other ingredients prior to use.

• Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including gas ranges, ovens, and deep fryers.
• Properly storing raw and cooked food in compliance with food safety and temperature control standards.
• Portioning and preparing dishes according to company specifications and service requirements.
• Supporting the Chef and kitchen team with food prep, stock checks, and general kitchen duties as required
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
• Following all relevant Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations, especially those specific to Indian cuisine preparation.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least one year of relevant work experience is strongly preferred.
• Holding a certificate or above level qualification in the absence of work experience is required.
• Must be flexible to work on weekends, late evenings and on public holidays.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of a busy kitchen environment.
• Reliable, hardworking, and passionate about cooking.
• High attention to detail and strong commitment to hygiene and safety practices.

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
