This Cook role would suit someone who is interested in growing their career and developing within our business. The position guarantees a minimum of 30 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $23.50 to $24, depending on experience.
Key tasks of the role include:

• Preparing food ingredients
• Cooking menu items under the supervision of the senior chef
• Managing and stocking inventory appropriately
• Washing and cleaning utensils and dishes
• Cleaning benches, floors, and other kitchen areas
• Disposing of rubbish
• Ensuring the kitchen is clean and sanitary
• Implementing all hygiene and health and safety requirements
• Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Ideal candidates are expected to have the following (but are not limited to):

• A Cookery qualification at Level 4 or higher, or
• At least two years of relevant work experience
• Flexible availability, as the position requires night shifts and Saturdays
• Experience in Mexican food and ingredients preferred
• A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
