What you’ll do: As our Contaminated Land Specialist based in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, you’ll be a vital part of the Ground & Underground Engineering and NZ Transport team. You will work across the infrastructure, energy, water and government sectors, advising on and delivering contaminated land investigations and remediation/management projects. You will work with clients to understand their needs across all aspects of their operations and apply scientific and practical thinking to solve problems. In this position you will join our Ground Engineering Team, where you will operate as an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients. Delivering exceptional quality and value for clients, whilst learning and growing as a professional with us. Key Responsibilities: Leading fieldwork teams and conducting soil, groundwater and soil gas sampling and groundwater well installation Providing high value contaminated land investigations and technical advice on a variety of projects Data quality assessments, risk assessments and reporting Developing reports to exceptional technical and editorial standard and the ability to work to tight deadlines Proposal and project management support to the land contamination and soils team What are we looking for from you? Bachelor’s degree in a related field Experience in ARC GIS/ ESDAT Proven experience in a similar role with 6+ years of experience An understanding of NES-CA and contaminated land guidelines Excellent project management and communication skills What’s in it for me?
