What You’ll Do

  • Own and manage customer contracts: Oversee the full lifecycle of customer-facing contracts, including negotiations, renewals, and variations, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Lead commercial governance: Act as the guardian of commercial risk, reviewing and refining terms to ensure profitability and compliance, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Enable sales success: Support sales teams by preparing contracts, resolving queries, and developing templates and playbooks to streamline quoting and contracting processes.
  • Drive sales support and procurement: Lead the Sales Support & Procurement function, managing procurement processes, validating quotes, and coordinating vendor-funded engagements.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Technical Presales, Finance, Legal, Service Delivery, and Operations to ensure contracts align with technical, financial, and compliance requirements.
  • Deliver insights and continuous improvement: Analyse contract data to identify trends and risks, provide commercial insights to leadership, and refine processes for greater efficiency and compliance.
  • The skills & experience you will bring to DEFEND
  • Proven experience in commercial management, contract management, bid management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of MSAs, SOWs, commercial terms, risk frameworks, and pricing structures.
  • Excellent written communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts for sales teams and customers.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail with a process-driven mindset.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Experience working in cybersecurity, ICT, SaaS, or managed services environments is a plus
