• In this role your vision and leadership will shape the technology and data strategy for the entire business. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll drive enterprise-wide digital transformation, champion innovation, and ensure our technology roadmap delivers real business impact.
• You’ll be at the centre of major change, aligning technology and data initiatives with our business goals to unlock new opportunities, streamline operations, and make life easier for our customers. Your work will deliver measurable outcomes, from smarter decision-making to greater operational efficiency, all while enhancing our reputation in the market.
• As part of a global organisation, you’ll represent Chubb Life NZ on the world stage, bringing local insights to global conversations, ensuring our strategies are both globally aligned and locally relevant.
• You’ll oversee the successful delivery of global technology initiatives in New Zealand, making sure every project meets the highest standards and delivers real value.
• In this key role you’ll
• Lead the development and execution of technology and data strategies, ensuring global alignment and local relevance
• Oversee enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, and networks for reliability, scalability, and security
• Drive digital transformation to modernise processes, enhance customer experience, and improve workflows
• Deliver enterprise-wide programmes with a focus on speed, cost efficiency, and measurable benefits
• Collaborate with executives and global teams to shape organisational strategy and foster a culture of innovation
• To be successful and grow in this role, you will ideally bring the following
• Proven strategic leader with experience developing and executing IT and data strategies that drive business success
• Skilled in leading large, cross-functional teams and managing complex change initiatives
• Exceptional communicator, able to simplify and share technical concepts across all levels
• Strong analytical thinker with expertise in solving complex technical and business challenges
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity, data governance, risk management, and financial oversight in technology environments
