Are you an organised, people-focused admin superstar who loves being at the heart of a busy centre Busy Bees Brooklyn is looking for a Centre Administrator to support our kaiako, whānau and Centre Manager in a part time, Monday to Friday role. This role suits someone who brings warmth, accuracy and great communication to their mahi. About us: Busy Bees Brooklyn is a values-led centre with a close-knit team and strong sense of community. Manaakitanga and whanaungatanga show up in how we talk to each other, greet whānau and move through the busy parts of the day. You will join experienced, collaborative kaiako who work in partnership with families. The pace can be lively, but the culture is respectful and supportive. As part of Busy Bees Aotearoa, we have established admin systems, clear processes and Support Office backing for training and development. The mahi: You will be the first friendly face whānau see each day. You will: • Welcome parents, visitors and tamariki and support positive daily interactions • Manage our childcare system Discover, including data entry, audits, invoicing and receipting • Handle centre email and phone communication • Prepare reports and support compliance and reporting requirements • Coordinate information with Support Office • Support the Centre Manager with general admin and organisational tasks • Assist with accounts and debtor follow up when needed About you: You are warm, organised and confident at the front desk. You enjoy welcoming people, answering questions and making sure details are taken care of. You are accurate with data and money, comfortable learning new software and like keeping information and records tidy. You can prioritise, switch between tasks and still keep track of what is outstanding. You handle sensitive information with discretion and enjoy being someone others can rely on. ECE admin, Discover or accounts experience is helpful, but your attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
